Release notes went out late because nobody owned the page. Now they land in the changelog while the deploy is still rolling out.

Challenge
Kestrino's changelog lived in a repository only engineers could edit, so release notes trailed releases by days.
Solution
Releases now live in the Studio. The team writes notes alongside each deploy and the changelog updates itself.

Notes that ship with the code

Each release gets a version, an area and its notes in the Studio, and the Changelog block lists it the moment it is published.

Product pages, owned by product

Steps, code tabs and integrations blocks let the product team explain new features without waiting on the website.
