What changes when editors own the site

When a new page no longer needs a developer, the whole team moves faster. Here is what we saw after handing over the Studio.

Fewer tickets, better pages

The first change is the queue. Requests like a new landing page or a moved section stop reaching developers, because editors can do them in the Studio in the time it takes to write the ticket.

Developers build blocks, not pages

Developer time goes into new blocks instead. Each one is a folder with a schema, a query and a component, and once it ships every editor can use it on any page.

Guard rails, not gates

Editors cannot break the design, because every block holds up next to every other. That is what makes it safe to hand over the keys.
