Plan the page before you open the Studio

A page built from blocks starts on paper. Here is how we sketch the order of sections before anyone touches a field.

Start with the question the page answers

Every page exists to answer one question for one reader. Write it down first: what is this, how much is it, can I trust it. The question decides which blocks belong on the page and which ones are noise.

One block per idea

Once the question is clear, list the ideas that answer it, then give each idea a single block. If two blocks make the same point, keep the stronger one.

  • A hero that states the answer in one line
  • A features block for the three reasons it is true
  • A testimonial that proves it with someone else's words
  • One call to action, never a row of them

Then fill in the fields

With the order on paper, building the page takes minutes. Add the blocks in order, write the copy into each field and publish. Moving a section later is a drag, not a redesign.
