Why every block has a light and a dark tone

Two tones are enough to give a long page rhythm without turning it into a patchwork of colours.

Rhythm without a patchwork

A long page needs pauses. A dark section between light ones tells the reader a new part has started. Any more colours than that and the page starts to look like a quilt.

How it works

Every block has a tone in its Options tab. Switching it to dark swaps the colour tokens for that section only, so text, buttons and cards follow without any extra work.

Use the dark tone once or twice per page, for the sections you want remembered.

When to leave it light

Heroes stay light, and so do blocks with a lot of small text. Dark works best for short, confident sections like a comparison or a closing call to action.
